Godbolts driving school are pleased to offer further tuition for those who have passed their driving test in the form of PASS PLUS. Why not give extra piece of mind to loved ones by taking PASS PLUS instruction? PASS PLUS is a road safety initiative aimed at improving the skills of new drivers.

PASS PLUS is a training scheme for new drivers. It's much more than just a few extra lessons. This specially designed course by the Driving Standards Agency, with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry, helps you to gain valuable driving experience safely.

Godbolt’s driving school will teach you how to deal with a wide range of road and traffic situations, many of which you probably won't have faced before and reduce your risk of being involved in a road accident. The PASS PLUS course will help boost your confidence, as well as awareness of all kinds of hazards and help you learn how to anticipate, plan for and deal with them safely.

PASS PLUS consists of six practical modules which cover driving in town, in all weathers, on rural roads, at night, on dual carriageways and on motorways. You can take it at any time within the first 12 month of passing your test.

There is no test at the end of it – your driving will be continually assessed and you must successfully complete all the modules in the course to an achieved or exceeded standard.

When you've reached the required level in all six modules, Godbolts Driving School will send your completed Training Report Form to DSA who will then issue a PASS PLUS Certificate of Completion. When you have successfully completed the PASS PLUS course, you are advised to check available discounts offered by the insurance companies taking part in the scheme.
